Crews Albritton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Hayden Smith was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Pettit, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Tri-County Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverfield Academy only posted an OBP of .320.
