Rio Vista got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matt Bodle out in front who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Holley, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Buckingham Charter took a serious blow against Sacramento Waldorf on Friday, falling 56-27. Buckingham Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rio Vista's victory bumped their season record to 2-3 while Golden Sierra's loss dropped theirs to 0-3.
