Despite the defeat, Lake Country Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jordan Goree scored 21 points. Sam Foley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Lake Country Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season.

As for Trinity Christian, they and the Knights will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Midland Classical Academy has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while the Lions will arrive with ten straight victories.
