 Plattsburgh's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Colden Johnson led the charge by throwing for 113 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one  TD on the ground. The Hornets' leading receiver  Ryan Colburn was  Johnson's top target yet again, picking up 68 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Meanwhile, Ticonderoga was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They received a  blow  as they fell  33-14 to Moriah.
 Ticonderoga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Plattsburgh, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-6.
