Whitehall entered their tilt with Eleva-Strum on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Cardinals. This was a revenge game for the Norse: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in April, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.
Mason Pientok made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Pientok was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
