Even though Cedar Bluffs has not done well against Lyons-Decatur Northeast recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cedar Bluffs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 21-19 win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast. The win was just what Cedar Bluffs needed coming off of a 47-18 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Omaha Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 69-27 loss at the hands of Weeping Water. Omaha Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.
Cedar Bluffs now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Cedar Bluffs came up short against Omaha Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 30-22. Can Cedar Bluffs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
