The Concordia Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 70-45 loss at the hands of Bracken Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Concordia has suffered since December 16, 2023.
Leading Bracken Christian to victory were Hunter Cox and Chandler Prescott. Cox scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Prescott scored 21 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prescott has scored all season. Eli Ramsey was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Concordia has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Bracken Christian, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing St. Paul the next time they take the court. Concordia will head out to face St. Paul at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bracken Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
