Ellenville is 10-0 against Dover since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ellenville Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Dover Dragons at 5:45 p.m. Ellenville is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.
Ellenville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 93-46 victory over Onteora. Ellenville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Jason Kinscy was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 assists. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Alen Ibric, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dover took a serious blow against Spackenkill on Friday, falling 86-36. Dover has not had much luck with Spackenkill recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Caden Green put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Shazell Bush, who scored seven points.
Ellenville pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Dover, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
Everything came up roses for Ellenville against Dover in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 88-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ellenville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
