The Gordon Longhorns extended their postseason success on Wednesday against the Westbrook Wildcats. They blew past the Wildcats 70-20 on the road. Fans of Gordon have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keegan Gilbreath, who rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Gilbreath hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brannon Larson, who rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown.
The victory for Gordon keeps them at an undefeated 15-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50.47 points. As for Westbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.
Gordon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westbrook also has no future games currently scheduled.
