The Father Capodanno Grunts can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 51-15 victory over Spirit of Life Christian Academy. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-9.
Among those leading the charge was Gemma Farris, who scored 16 points. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Attar, who scored 13 points.
Father Capodanno's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Spirit of Life Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Father Capodanno will take on the Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spirit of Life Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
