Cedar Creek came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Oak Hill Rams as they made off with a 64-44 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lainee Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Emma Wiggins was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Cedar Creek's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Oak Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.
