Lincoln found their leader in underclassman MICHAEL WASHINGTON, who rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Cristerna, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Mission's defeat was their fourth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Mission will head out on the road to face off against Galileo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Galileo is ranked 969th, while Mission is ranked 985th). As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Washington at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
