Stratford extended their home winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Meliq McGowan. The Knights strolled past the Cane Bay Cobras with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  38-24 for which the team can thank  McGowan, who rushed for 212 yards and two  scores while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 212  rushing yards.
Stratford's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cane Bay, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stratford is set to  take on  their familiar foe Wando  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Cane Bay will  square off against  rival Goose Creek  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
