The Madera South Stallions''s game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 38-27 to Hoover. Madera South was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hoover apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Octavio Jorge Flores threw for 76 yards and a touchdown. Angel Moreno was his top target, gaining 108 total yards.
Hoover can attribute much of their success to Kevin Moultrie, who rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Matthew Negrete, who picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hoover, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 3-6.
Madera South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hoover is also done with their season.
