The Impact Christian Academy Lions had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Fletcher on Tuesday, falling 62-7. Impact Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fletcher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasmine Cross, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikiah Sloan, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Impact Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Fletcher, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Impact Christian Academy will take on Eagle's View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fletcher, they will head out on the road to face off against First Coast at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th.
