The Fishers Tigers entered their tilt with the Carmel Greyhounds with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fishers walked away with a 44-37 win over Carmel on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fishers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Fishers was led to victory by Allison Scheu and Talia Harris. Scheu scored ten points, while Harris scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. Harris has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Thomas, who scored four points.
Fishers has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Carmel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fishers will face off against Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Avon is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Carmel's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pike at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
