The biggest upset of the week belonged to Layton, who took down 39th ranked Fremont, 13-7. Hunter Evans threw for 227 yards and ran for 25 yards in the win.
Viewmont lost to Northridge 47-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Lancers' dynamic duo of Evans and Jordan Jaramillo proved tough for the Silver Wolves to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Julian Blackmon helped Layton's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 84 yards.

Auston Tesch was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 122 yards as Weber beat Fremont. Teammate Hunter Bell added to the ground attack by rushing for 36 yards.
Mason Ewing made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Lancers topped the Silver Wolves. The 6-foot-4 defensive end grabbed 2.0 sacks.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Jaramillo. The Layton star has 24 catches for 321 yards.
The Warriors are currently in second, while the Vikings are in fifth.
Weber made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,266 from 4,617. The advance stemmed from a 28-20 victory over Box Elder last week.
