Softball Recap: Botkins' Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Botkins's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Spencerville Bearcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Botkins' victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Spencerville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Botkins will be playing at home against Fairlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Jets at the right time seeing as the Jets are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Spencerville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cory-Rawson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
