Alhambra won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Despite the loss, Washington had strong showings from Amanda Cangmah, who had eight digs and two aces, and Latrice Lomakema, who had four digs and two aces. Lomakema is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Alhambra's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Alhambra wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Thunderbird on the 15th. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Youngker on the 16th.
