Landon Ward Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Willcox got the W thanks in part to Landon Ward playing the best football he has all season. Ward made 11 total tackles and defended two passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (105.9) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Ismael Cuevas produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Willcox to the win on Friday. Cuevas made 19 total tackles.
For the year, Cuevas has averaged 9.7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.14 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 3.71 receiving yards.

Bryceton Meyer Dazzles in Bisbee Victory
The second Bisbee player making an appearance here is Bryceton Meyer, and for good reason. He rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Meyer must have Palo Verde's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Meyer last faced the Titans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 341 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 21.3 yards per carry.
