The Joaquin Rams had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down West Rusk 69-54 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Joaquin also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Harper, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harper has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Montrell Giddings, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, West Rusk were working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Joaquin's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for West Rusk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
The pair will face off at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully West Rusk focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Joaquin at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
