Evan Bowling was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Logan Dent and his 105 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Salem's win.
Madison's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.7 points per game. As for Salem, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Salem will be playing in front of their home fans against Scottsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
