The University School of Jackson Bruins are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Rossville Christian Academy Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, University School of Jackson didn't have too much trouble with Huntingdon on the road as they won 44-28.
University School of Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lily Teague led the charge by scoring 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylen Ayers, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Rossville Christian Academy is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Conway last Tuesday, but Conway came as close as anyone has to beating them. Rossville Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Conway and snuck past 55-53.
Dyersburg's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while University School of Jackson's defeat dropped theirs to 1-3.
University School of Jackson and Rossville Christian Academy were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but University School of Jackson came up empty-handed after a 63-62 defeat. Can University School of Jackson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
