The Axtell Longhorns can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 57-53 W over Dublin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Axtell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Levi Leathers, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Bays, who scored 11 points.
Axtell pushed their record up to 4-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Dublin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Axtell will take on Valor Preparatory Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dublin, they will be playing at home against Eldorado at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
