South Shore waltzed into their match on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat East New York Family Academy 69-42. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, East New York Family Academy still got an impressive performance from Arianna Mercado, who posted 22 points and four steals. Mercado's afternoon made it 13 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Eugene, who put up nine points.

South Shore is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for East New York Family Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

South Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East New York Family Academy, they will face off against Long Island Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
