If the Trinity Titans were feeling good off their 39-13 takedown of the Granger Christian Knights last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Trinity took a 37-21 bruising from North Judson-San Pierre on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Trinity has scored all season.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Heintzelman, who scored three points along with seven rebounds. Ian Abbott was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Judson-San Pierre, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Trinity and Kouts will round out the year against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at. North Judson-San Pierre will finish 2023 at home by hosting Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frontier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 389th, while North Judson-San Pierre is ranked 139th).
