In other batting news, Lynn Welborn was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was McKenzie Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base.
Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for West Vigo, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
