Miguel Garcia-Salas and Solomon Frisco provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Marywood-Palm Valley. The connection was good for 72 yards, the longest such play in Majestic (8 Man) this season.
Crossroads Christian took down Calvary Chapel 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Thanks to the talents of Garcia-Salas and Frisco Calvary Baptist has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Garcia-Salas leads the league in passing with 502 yards, while Frisco has rushed for 644 yards this season. Cornerstone Christian's Joe Cody leads the league in receiving yards with 274 on 12 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Lions take on the Crusaders. At the moment, Calvary Chapel is in fifth, while Cornerstone Christian is in first.
The Firebirds led the league in scoring this week after putting up 79 points on the Cougars.
