Baseball Game Preview: Fordyce Redbugs vs. Pine Bluff Zebras

For the second straight game, Fordyce will face off against Pine Bluff. Fordyce will be playing at home against Pine Bluff at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Things were looking good for Fordyce after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Pine Bluff by a score of 13-12. That's two games in a row now that the Redbugs have lost by just one run.

For Pine Bluff's part, the team relied heavily on Kylin Sims, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Sims a new career-high. Sedrick Pridgeon Jr. also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Fordyce's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-4. As for Pine Bluff, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
