They put the hurt on the Delaware County Christian Knights with a sharp 14-8 victory on Wednesday. The Cougar not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024 (when they won 20-3).
Hannah Quinn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). Quinn was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Kelsey Jappah was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Sophia Keeler also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.
