Meanwhile, Sturgis Brown lost 3-0 to Rapid City Christian on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Scoopers in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Sturgis Brown was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.

Brandon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Sturgis Brown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
