On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lilly Land, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Sydney Ralstin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
East Ridge's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Sarasota, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Sarasota hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like East Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs.
