The Heritage Huskies suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 87-51 loss at the hands of Millbrook. Heritage has not had much luck with Millbrook recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jon Mwanda, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Strand, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Colt Langdon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Millbrook, scoring 35 points. Langdon is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Alex Olander was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Millbrook, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6.
Heritage will face off against Knightdale at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Knightdale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three games. As for Millbrook, they will be playing at home against Rolesville at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Rolesville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 326th, while Millbrook is ranked 22nd).
