The All S Saints will head out to face off against the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. All S is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
All S will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Southwest Christian School, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. All S had just enough and edged out Southwest Christian School 4-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Saints have posted since March 21, 2024.
Heidi Peterson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Maggie Meyer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, while Fort Worth Country Day put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Greenhill. Fort Worth Country Day blew past Greenhill 7-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Greenhill's batters probably weren't too happy with Madeline Richey, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 16 Ks (she gave up zero walks). That's the first time Richey hasn't allowed a single walk since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryleigh Hall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerri Tsai, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
All S is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. Fort Worth Country Day now has a winning record of 5-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. All S has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Fort Worth Country Day struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
All S came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Worth Country Day in their previous meeting back in March of 2021, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for All S since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
