Dylan Hayhurst's Big Game Leads Goldwater over Ironwood
Starting off the list is Goldwater's Dylan Hayhurst, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hayhurst rushed for 333 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.
Hayhurst and Goldwater will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mountain Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. The last time Hayhurst took on the Mountain Lions, he rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Paul Came Up Big in Ironwood's 44-21 Loss
Ironwood had to settle for second on Friday, but Khavontae Paul sure wasn't going down easily. Goldwater had no answer to Paul as he rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Paul's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Ironwood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. Paul and Ironwood will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Willow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
