Meanwhile, Weatherly's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by Nativity BVM 84-56. While losing is never fun, Weatherly can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 647th, while Nativity BVM is ranked 283rd).
MMI Preparatory School is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Weatherly, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18.
