The Kelvyn Park Panthers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Legal Prep by a score of 63-54 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Kelvyn Park sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Despite the loss, Legal Prep still got an impressive performance from Maurquese Washington, who scored 18 points. TyShawn Spires was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Kelvyn Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Legal Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
