The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They managed a 49-45 win over Ezekiel Academy. The win was just what Abbeville Christian Academy needed coming off of a 51-31 defeat in their prior match.
Abbeville Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna grace Blalock led the charge by dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Blalock has scored at least a third of Abbeville Christian Academy's points. Amari George was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Abbeville Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Ezekiel Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
Abbeville Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ezekiel Academy, they will head out on the road to take on East Central HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
