Leading Bonner Springs to victory were Kalen Streit and Jason Jones. Streit scored 25 points along with six assists and five steals, while Jones shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Patrick Price was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Lansing's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Bonner Springs, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Lansing will be playing at home against De Soto on Friday. Lansing has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Bonner Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against Ottawa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ottawa's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
