There's no place like home for Whitewright, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Dodd City Hornets on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Whitewright's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Dodd City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Coming up, Whitewright will square off against Muenster at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dodd City, they will venture away from home to take on Collinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
