The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They managed a 48-44 victory over Southern Alamance. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Ridge also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2016.
Amiyah Ware continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with five steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Cedar Ridge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Utley, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sunny Yarnell, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Isley, who scored 11 points.
