The Montverde Academy Eagles stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Oak Hill Academy, posting a 80-50 win on the road. The win was just business as usual for Montverde Academy, who after 17 games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for Cooper Flagg, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Derik Queen, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Montverde Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Oak Hill Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Brewster Academy National the next time they take the court. Montverde Academy will head out to face Brewster Academy National at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Oak Hill Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
