When it comes to explaining why Calumet New Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eric Allen. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with eight assists and two steals. Allen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Derrick Santiago, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Calumet New Tech and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Munster, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Calumet New Tech will be playing at home against Hammond Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hammond Morton is coming into the matchup with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Calumet New Tech will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Munster, they will face off against Gary West Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Munster's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 matches.
