Hoggard's dynamic duo of Xavier Johnson and Luke Ward proved to be unstoppable against Topsail, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Johnson threw for 11 yards and Ward had 25 yards receiving. Harrison Smith helped Hoggard's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 17 yards.

Leading 4A/3A Conference 17 in both passing and receiving yards, Hoggard's Austin Schoenleber and Randall Emerson have proven to be a lethal combination. Schoenleber has thrown for 422 yards this season, while Emerson has 20 catches for 282 yards. Ashley's Kane leads the league in rushing yards with 597.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Hoggard takes on second place New Hanover. Scott Braswell's team bested Topsail last week, while New Hanover beat Lumberton.
Tom Eanes' team led the league in scoring this week by notching 41 points on South Brunswick. Kane ran for 203 yards in the win.
