The Manual Thunderbolts can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 59-28 victory over Lincoln. Manual's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Manual was led to victory by Jaci Collins-Falcon and Dayjah Fox. Collins-Falcon scored 11 points along with five steals, while Fox dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fox has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Naujee Cross-Jones, who scored four points along with four steals.
Manual's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Lincoln, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manual won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Denver West at 11:00 a.m. on January 13th. Denver West's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Manual's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to square off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
