Heminger was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. He has become a key player for Westerville North: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 5-7 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Ethan Robinson was  excellent,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddox Montgomery, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Westerville North's record is now 11-7. As for Columbus Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
