The Eaton Rapids Greyhounds''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 46-6 loss at the hands of Clio. Eaton Rapids lost against Clio in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 34-16 score last time.
Keegan Gochenour threw for 128 yards on eight of 18 attempts. Ethan Gaston was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Eaton Rapids' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-0 Portland and 8-1 Sexton (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 74.1% over those games). As for Clio, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
Eaton Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clio is also done with their season.
