After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hulett, the Edgemont Moguls were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Oelrichs by a score of 50-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Edgemont also won the last time the pair played last Monday.
Edgemont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keaton Darrow led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Morse, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Edgemont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-14 record this season. As for Oelrichs, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Edgemont will be playing in front of their home fans against Takini at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oelrichs, they will head out on the road to challenge Tiospaye Topa at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Oelrichs is coming into the matchup with eight straight defeats on the road, meaning Tiospaye Topa will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
