Powers were gifted an easy win on Friday as Gilchrist wound up forfeiting 0-2.
The victory bumped Powers' record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Gilchrist's record to 1-3.
Next week Powers take on Triangle Lake at 7:00 PM. Triangle Lake also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their game last week, so look for the defenses to decide this one. As for Gilchrist, they will face off against Jewell. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
