Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Josh O'neal, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Caleb Carson, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Galt's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Union Mine on the road and fell 83-39. While losing is never fun, Galt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1294th, while Union Mine is ranked 170th).
Bradshaw Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Galt, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-16.
Everything came up roses for Bradshaw Christian against Galt when the teams last played on January 5th as the team secured a 69-34 win. With Bradshaw Christian ahead 42-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
